Its fully integrated tilt-rotor system combines propulsion, tilt mechanism, variable-pitch propellers, and control surfaces in a compact wingtip module, enabling seamless mode transition and efficient flight.

Takeoff and Landing
The tilt system adjusts motor thrust direction for smooth transition between multicopter VTOL and fixed-wing cruise. Unlike conventional differential thrust control, X8L achieves vector control through tilt, offering faster response and stronger wind resistance.

The variable-pitch system automatically adjusts blade angle according to flight mode, maximizing aerodynamic efficiency, reducing noise, and ensuring optimal hover and cruise performance.

Tandem-Wing Layout
The tandem-wing layout shortens wingspan while preserving lift and payload capacity. Compact, easy to transport and operate, yet capable of up to 60 minutes of stable cruise.

Quality and cost
The X8L is built to be lightweight, strong, and easy to maintain. Its main structure uses carbon fiber composites formed under heat and pressure. This keeps the airframe stable and aerodynamic at high speeds.

Critical high-load drive components
including the tilt mechanism, servo transmission system, and variable-pitch assembly, are CNC-machined from aerospace-grade aluminum to deliver excellent precision, mechanical consistency, and long-term durability.
Other non-structural parts
using industrial 3D printing and injection molding to reduce weight and cost. The modular design allows for quick assembly, easy maintenance, and fast part replacement in the field.
